Julia + Michael

In 2019, both Julia and Michael accepted sales positions at Yelp and although an exciting new career was in sight, they never saw love coming. On November 4th, they both began Yelp’s sales training program however never spoke a word. Michael saw Julia as a quiet and shy young woman and Julia saw Michael as "a lot" and “too much”.
It wasn’t until December 19th at Hotel Chantelle (a bar in the Lower East Side) that the couple officially met. Being that the Christmas party was taking place that night, Michael was dressed in a suit and finally caught Julia’s eye. At the party, Julia was talking to Yelp's training director because she was the number 1 rep in Yelp’s training program…however Michael was not, but he looked good. :)
With liquid confidence in his system Michael decided to walk up to the training director (who clearly did not want to talk to him) who introduced him to Julia in order to dodge his conversation. Lucky for them, they hit it off immediately!
They talked and talked until the party was over. Not wanting to part, they found another bar (Soho Park) and continued to get to know one another. They both opened up to each other more than 2 strangers should. They spoke of past relationships, current struggles, medical conditions, and life in general. That night, Michael felt “that special connection” we all see in love movies and it was right then and there that he realized there was something special about Julia, and there was!
Jordan + Nick

We were introduced by two friends—Natasha and Tanner—who were bartending at Exchange in Gramercy. We kept finding ourselves running into each other there, magnetized and wanting to keep talking and being around each other. We met on April 2nd, by the following weekend we were obsessed with each other. Nick took me on a truly magical first date. I mentioned I loved the movie Whiplash, so he reserved a table for two at Zinc Bar where we saw a 20-piece Jazz band. I was sold.

In 2011, I was surfing Facebook, stumbled upon an old group photo and there was James. I clicked on his profile and scanned for information. Single? Check. So In a bold gesture, I decided to send a private message to James letting him know he was by far the hottest guy I had ever seen. I closed my computer and laughed at myself, assuming that was the end. We spent our days texting and talking and seeing each other when we could. I was attending school in NYC and Seb was visiting from Maine. He was a photographer and I was a model at the time and he reached out to set up a photoshoot. That day it ended up pouring rain and since he had his videographer friend with us he had the brilliant idea of creating a fake love video so we did exactly that. The rest is history! We then moved in together here in NY he proposed to me on my first Mother’s Day. It truly was love at first sight and we now have a beautiful family of our own with our two year old son and puppy. We can’t wait to get married!
Allison + Paul

We met at a Christmas party introduced by my best friend and Paul’s co worker at the time- Gina. Paul was festive in his best Green pants. After insulting me by asking me if I had just eaten Tostito chips mid conversation, he shortly after got on one knee and asked me to marry him that night. He took my number and asked if he could take me out to dinner. The next day, when I told my friends they said “Oh Pauly Green pants asked you out?” And that name stuck for the next few years. Our first date was supposed to be the day my Mom passed away. This was a difficult time but I’ve found happiness in that day when I think of it as how our story began. We finally had our first date at “SEA” in Williamsburg, a Thai restaurant.
Rosemarie + Fred

We first met working at DiCarlo Food Service in Holtsville, NY. Being that I was just hired, Fred was asked to train me...in which he had no interest in doing. I didn't mind, simply because I didn't take a liking to him right away either, HA! Being that we were both in Outside Sales we were constantly on the road together operating as if we were a husband and wife team. In fact, everyone else thought we were dating before we even were! Eventually Fred asked me on a first date, took me to the Bronx Zoo, and the rest is history!
